Posted by: greenlantern44 at Thu Apr 14 13:03:39 2011 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by greenlantern44 ] It has been a long time sexing alligator lizards, but if I remember correctly, there will be pores on the underside of the rear legs and usually you can tell by the size of their heads, males tend to have large heads compared to females. If you catch a few around the same adult size, you should definately be able to tell. You can also find more info online, just google your exact question, and it should produce several resources.
