Yeah Big T, Since it was filmed in Nicaragua, I have to agree with it having to be an Eyelash Viper(B. schlegeli). That is basically what it has to be from the description unless it was a "planted" snake from a totally different region.

The poster must also keep in mind that they come in a MYRIAD of different color/pattern phases too, and basically no two are identical.
