Posted by: gizzy20001 at Sun Aug 14 23:25:02 2011 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by gizzy20001 ] I'm having a similar issue, I live in southwest Washington, and just went herping in the Yakima area, and found this little lizard, which I thought was a female western fence lizard just like I saw when I visited northeast California. then I read that western fence lizards do no range into Washington but another sub-species does, the northwestern fence lizard. and then I find out that the sagebrush lizard also can be found in Washington, so it could be a male sagebrush......anyways, here are a couple photos.
