Posted by: boxienuts at Mon Feb 28 23:06:10 2011 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by boxienuts ] I house all my garters individually, but not because I necessarily think there is something wrong with doing so, it's more a matter of I want to keep exact track off who is doing what, who's eating, popping, shedding, separate food, water, less sharing if illness occurs ect. ect. Of course pairs are put togather during breeding time regardless, but feeding is done in separate quarters even during the breeding season, so you might want to at least put them in individual containers for feeding time to avoid any accidental problems should two snakes start eating the same food item at opposite ends and the same time, because the one with the bigger mouth wins when they meet in the middle and just keeps going.
