I came across my dumerils in a very lucky way. A friend of mine who owns a rescue had a healthy juvenile that needed a home. I payed $50 and have loved them since. Being a snake enthusiast i had always heard about them but never saw one outside of photo's. Fast forward to today. I was at the reptile show and i saw atleast 4 adults for sale and handfuls of babies. This is a huge deal considering for many years id never see one and for the past few months ive only seen a baby here and there. Also a local pet store i go to has a dumerils for sale. It appears they are getting pretty popular. Atleast in my area.
