I just got it for $25 same as its been for years. BUT,everything traveling by air/truck is going up because of gass going up so fast. Nice animals, have you had any shell damage on the females being mounted over the years? I'm starting to see some wild captured adults now 20 year captive females carapace's becoming thin, and even braking through from the males toe nails. I'm starting to see new husbendry problems with older tortoises. I work with Manouria which has a softer shell than other torts. I've seen the same type of scaring on older adult imports that used to come in and in the mass confascation shippments I assisted with. Manouria have very large and strong nails that maybe dont get worn down in the soft Fl.ground. I've never clipped them blunt as to not interfear with the grip they need. Duct tape helps protect them during the heavy breeding season.I've seen pictures of Aldabs with small rubber tires attached somehow to their carapace. Any thoughts? Vic
