If the females aren't ready for the boys yet, usually they will start rattling their tail like a rattlesnake and making jerky moves to the males advances. If this happens, she is not ready. I've noticed that after the females have their first post brumation shed is usually the time they are the most receptive to breed. I would say just keep trying every few days to put the males in with the females. Good luck to you this year. Isn't it exciting? I can't wait to see what you produce.
