I think it's just the time of year. There are several breeders of high quality East Sanderson stock but most people have probably sold the majority of their 2010 hatchlings by now.

It's tempting to get something just because it's available now but if you're willing to wait you will almost certainly be able to get what you really want next hatching season.

Now is a good time to get a cage ready and to ask about breeders and get an idea of who will be producing what. It's also still a good idea to keep checking the classifieds as people sometimes sell off good specimens to make room for something new.

IMHO Sanderson(East, West, North and In Town) is a great locality to work with because it has qualities of both the eastern and western localities. I have two pairs of F1 East Sanderson's but they won't be beedable until 2012. Here's some pics just to give you an idea of the variability of the locale.
