My 4-yr. old female bred for the first time this year. She laid eggs today and it appears that only one is good. When should pairs be put together and how long should they be kept together? I put them together in November and saw breeding activity. I kept them together for a couple weeks and put them back together in December, the male did not show interest. Maybe put them together late-October and leave them through January (except for feeding)?

Thanks.

Michael
