Posted by: steve fuller at Fri Mar 11 16:55:18 2011 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by steve fuller ] A nice clutch of Eastern indigo eggs arrived today: eleven good looking, one questionable, and two infertile. Lisa is a 2004 hatchling. She skipped producing for the past two years, even though she mated with males who did fertilize other females each season. She last shed on 2/16/2011. Eggs are incubating in a mix of vermiculite and perlite. Will try to keep temperatures in the 70's until close to hatching time. Then temperatures up to the low 80's would be good. Second Eastern female, Sister Skink, is also due to lay in about two weeks. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
