Even if you do have coverage though, you better say you crashed on your bicycle inside a national park or you're pretty well screwed. I'm 36 and going down is definitely getting worse as time goes by. Last year at a national enduro up in Michigan I decided to keep racing even with a flat front tire and the next section was FAST and sandy. I think I was in 4th gear when I couldn't get the front end to stick turning right and when my bars clipped a tree, down I went. That was the first time I didn't just bounce right back up. I just sort of layed there in the fetal position for a second thinking DA&@ THAT HURT!!!! Getting old stinks, but if you buy a bike I bet you'll find more than 3 times a year to ride. We usually put studs in our tires and ride all winter long. If you want to race, go for it, but just getting out and having a good time with friends is a great way to relieve some stress.
