Some people have housed Uros together with success and others dont. Each Uro is different and if you want to house them together make sure you have the space or willing to sell some if there are signs of domination.
Captive bred Uros will tolerate some handling while Wild Caught will hide the second you get close. Uros dont even compare to Beardies when it comes to handling. Beardies will sit on your shoulder for an hour where a Uro would jump off in 2min. They are more of a display animal then take out and play with animal.
They make great display animals because they are extremely active. You will find them exploring every inch of the cage.
I dont keep snakes but from working at a pet shop as a kid I can tell you snakes smell a heck of a lot worse than lizards. Although when I had a beardie he could smell at times. My Uros dont smell at all. When they deficate its so small and the cage is so hot and dry that it dries up in minutes and doesnt really smell. Plus if you have sand or millet that will coat it and help keep the smell down.
