Nice cages. Shouldn't be any p0roblem setting up lights inside those cages..and they certainly are tall enough not to be any risk of the dragon coming in contact with the hot bulb, as long as the basking site isn't too high.



A 75 watt bulb should be all you need...maybe less too... My cages had screen doors and were 5'x2'x2' and I typically used a 120watt for winter and a 100watt during summer... My apartment tended to be around 78-80F during the summer and closer to 73-75F during the winter but my dragon was on the lowest cage in a three cage stack..so he would often get cool air so I had a higher wattage bulb during the winter. Most times she brumated anyway...



Glad to hear you are doing all the right things before getting a dragon or other reptile.
