Posted by: crusher70 at Thu Mar 31 16:06:31 2011 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by crusher70 ] My female laid her first clutch of 12 eggs last night. The bad news is that I did not have a laying box set up & she just dropped them in the sand substrate during the night. The eggs are somewhat dented. I hope they are OK. I have the eggs in a plastic food storage container of damp-to-clumping vermiculite at 84 degrees in a Reptibator. There is a plastic lid with several holes in it on the container. The Reptibator also gauges the ambient humidity. What humidity number should I shoot for? Are freshly laid eggs often dented?
