Wow, it has been a while since I last posted on here. Anyway.....I have a question: Do any of you mix dead grass into the soil in your pens? I have always just mixed some plain peat moss into the soil where I have their cubbies in order to keep the soil from being so hard and packed down. (By dead grass I mean the grass that I rake off the yard at the beginning of Spring before I start watering again.) Any thoughts would be appreciated.
