I got a neglected snake 5 years ago, and decided to rescue him, I was told he resembles a corn snake so i read about those and made his cage up for one, but after looking at some pictures and seeing them in stores he doesn't look like a corn snake to me. He is about 4 feet long, 1.5 - 2 inches in diameter ( he is a bit over weight). He rattles his tail before striking, and loves to climb up the wood in his terranium, he constricts to kill his prey and likes to bury himself under his substrate. When being held he will usually coil around my hand. I have posted a picture, and added a link to 3 other pictures, if anyone can help me out please do.
