Personally, I would leave the dividing walls solid/opaque. Having a screen or clear walls will allow males to view each other. Males are aggressive towards eachother and though they cannot reach each other with screen between them...knowing the other is there and not far away...could cause them to stress and attack the screen.

The size of each cage should be fine for up to two females...or a male/female pair. Though I am far more comfortable housing 2-3 geckos in a cage that has 24" tall x 18"x18" length/width.
