They give away their unused roll ends. I've got enough newsprint to last me the rest of the year easy. I tried to cut it today it went ok and I'm somewhat happy with my results. I used a razor knife and cut length ways down the tube till they were all separated from the tube. Then I put a template down and cut the ends off so that they were just the right size. The only thing that I'm kind of unhappy with are the edges of the sheets are kinda rough because the blade of the knife got dull super quick. Any I would really like to be able to cut the next roll and get some perfect cuts of paper. I haven't been able to figure out exactly how to do this, but I was thinking if I could get my hands on a 24" newsprint or wrapping paper dispenser with a sliding paper cutter attached to it that it would work great. Does anyone know if one of these exists? If not does anyone know of a better way to cut the newsprint with perfect edges?
