It varies retic to retic. Some never do, some usually do...some will grow out some won't. Sorry that there isn't a real answer.
Is it a defensive poop (i.e. aimed at you, smeared on by a thrashing tail, and ground into the fabric of your clothes by a pissed retic) or is just a dump?
