Mississippi's crawlin'.....

Here a list of the finds, will post pics in the next couple of days...



Weather has been really varied, some nights hot and humid, others chilled, typical spring weather, have went out a couple of times and found...



1.1 cottonmouths locked up, was fortunate enough to catch the whole "meet and greet"

0.0.1 baby cottonmouth

1 ringneck snake (was a complete surprise, very cool)

5 banded watersnakes

1 stinkpot (love these little guys)

5 or 6 typical black racers

lots and lots of frogs...



Oh yeah, almost forgot, when on my way back from the field, was talking to a guy cutting a tree down, he happened to tell me about the snake that he just found in a not-hole, lol, he asked me if i wanted it, I was very excited, I looked in the brush under the tree, and to my surprise, a VERY beautiful baby rat was curled on one of the branches. I showed my wife and she decided that he was a "must have" for our very small collection, so was a very interested day all in all.
