Wild story. If true very interesting! But I doubt it. I have never seen any atrox north of about the half way line in New mexico. if those are really atrox then that would be really neat if there was a major major break through in range size. I am gonna stay the skeptic and say someones messing around. the snake pictured looks like a Southern New Mexico Atrox. Faded pattern and great looking. Not a crotalus expert by anymeans. all that I know is what Ive read and seen in the wild. Would be pretty cool though if there was a population of atrox that far north.
