I've had this WC western whiptail for at least 4 years. She was a young adult when I got her. Always a lively and amusing gal. The past several days, she has not been moving much, not climbing on her basking ledge much, pretty much staying on the substrate. I removed 2 retained eyecaps gently, so she can see. She just doesn't want to go after her crickets or waxworms as usual. I've been giving her a mouthful a day of T-Rex Hydro-Life liquid and syringe-feeding her a bit of canned cat food/water slurry, not very much per day. She is still the same as described above. No obvious lesions or injuries. Could she just be aging out and dying of natural causes?
