Hi Sylvia,

Sorry to be replying so late, I've been away from the forum for a while. Did you get your snakes eating? Mine only really like geckos, but I've fooled them into taking chicken hearts and even small chicken wing portions by scenting them with chopped up geckos. They also love day old chicks if they are of a size to take those.

I'm in Fiji with the closely related Candoia bibroni bibroni, and the natural temperature range is 21 - 32 oC. My mature males do stop eating for about 3 months every winter when it drops below about 24oc though.

How large are your snakes?
