Hello,

I found a baby painted tutle outside of a JoAnne Fabrics store. It is a little bigger then a nickle. I'm not sure how it managed to make it from the pond area to the front of the store without being steeped on. I brought him home because he is so small and is injured, and i don't think he would survive without help. He has trauma to his left eye. I tried to clean it the best I could. He seems to favor his head on the right side. I put im in a ten gallon tank with a little water and a heater. He is on top of the rock, and has not moved since I put him there this evening. His litlle head is out of his shell. If you put him in water he floats. Any advice would be helpful... I'm going to call my vet tomorrow morning, and make an appointment for the weekend. Is there anything else I should do to help this little guy?
