I said I am struggling just trying to find a breeder, and others may know more people who breed them but I don't and that's why I messaged. Whether they turn black or not is a different story. I know babies just do not come out of eggs black already. They tend to look dark gray, and these have a good chance but even these can remain the same dark gray or lighter every shed. The lighter babies coming from dark parents can even turn black but maybe not either. That is why the name Alterna totally matches these kings, and that makes up a lot of the love for these guys besides the googly eyes.
