So about 3 months ago I bought this awesome red/orange male trans leather. I just loved him and his color. Planning to use him for my red projects! Well last week I went into the "dragon room" to check and see if he had shed out since he was in a full body shed for a little while and got a very big shock! My red/orange dragon turned purple! I just couldn't believe it. After talking with the breeder none of his siblings have done this. The only reference I had to another dragon doing this that looks very similar was "RAZ" produced by Steven at Bloodbank. So I talked with Steven and he informed me that is does occur once in a while and is most likely a paradox form of the translucent gene! So it was an exciting week for us and I thought I would share it. The three pictures are of him now and when he was 7 weeks old Enjoy
