He was produced by Corky at DiamondDen. I talked with his wife and she said that they had kept a bunch of his siblings until recently and only just olds off the last sibling 2 weeks ago. To her knowledge none of the ones they sold have done this. But she did also say that they have another clutch from the same pairing coming up. IM sure she will be looking for this to occur with any of them. From what I have been told it seems to happen very rarely though and you can't really tell by any traits (like in my case) that they will just completely change like that. Honestly I was upset at first. I loved his red/orange and he had such intensity to him. But after talking with some other breeders ive come to realize how lucky I am! He will still give me pretty red/orange babies as well as being a very nice leatherback and trans. And Honoo is also 100% het for hypo! So he is a complete package We plan to keep him. Once he gets older I have a few girls I would love to pair him with and it would be fun bring him to some shows to show people our odd purple dragon!
