So, I have large pythons and I use those outdoor plastic pond things from home depot. I am wondering if I can use a filter device in the water to discourage bacteria growth? I know people use them for turtles but I have never seen them put to use for snakes and I am wondering if that is because they are somehow dangerous. I am even considering getting one of the "turtle tubs" that come with the constant water flow set-up and modifying it to fit in enclosures. However, I really like the ponds I have because they look great and I already have them lol If anyone has ANY info on filter use pllleeaassee let me know! Thanks so much!
