Hi! I have been keeping snakes off and on pretty much all my life, but studied amphibians in school, and went with poison frogs for about 15 years. I finally burned out on them, (mostly due to the level of interest and commercialization the poison frogs receive from the herping community now), the tediousness of feeding and maintaining food cultures, and the sheer numbers of young you wind up dealing with.
Cruising the web the other day, I came across a San Francisco Garter photo, and a couple Red Sided garter photos. I decided it would be real cool to have a couple of really really nice red sideds. Is there anyone out there who is currently breeding California Red Sided Garters? What do they go for? Are they hard to keep? Any info would be appreciated. I can be easily reached at csmgibeau@comcast.net or by text at 253 376 8206. Thanks in advance guys.
