For baby reptiles.

These Glad containers are now BPA free.

I decided to try using a hole saw to cut a hole as shown. Works OK. Debur it just a little.

I cut a piece of aluminum window screen to size to fit in the circular area on the lid. Put a bead of silicon sealant down and laid the screen on it. Used a finger to spread the silicon around the area and seal in the screen edges.

Worked well. Was fast and easy. Using these boxes for hatchling snakes.

Could have easily just poked holes with a soldering iron, but I really like how these turned out, and the amount of ventilation is just about perfect for a hatchling kingsnake.
