From the last couple of days. I was surprised by the lizards as it's been cool again (nights in the 30s, days in the 60s). Not much snake activity. Did see some mammals. Not pictured: the other 4 whiptails, a porcupine, a raccoon, and tons of deer, vultures, hawks.

Side blotched lizard (Uta stansubriana). I have not seen one of these in 5 years. Made me very happy. Still missing: Holbrookia maculata and C. texanum. Used to see them in the canyon semi-regularly but...around 2006 I guess they all dried up and blew away? See tons of whiptails and prairie lizards still.

a pretty collared. I was astonished to see one out in this weather. It wasn't 60 degrees when this picture was taken.
