What is the best (man-made) diet for them..other than an all natural wild diet..

I have a 3 year old female and I normally give ZM turtle diet, with human grade thawed shrimp given about once a week or so. I have looked at all the different brands of aquatic turtle diet and most are plant based and made for sliders and other turtles. Funny, ZM has a turtle treat with pic of dbt, but ingredients that they do not eat..like berries...

But the terrapin is 90% carnivorous so those pellets would be ok, but not great. Also have read that the freezing process for seafood can cause health problems in turtles/terrapins.

so what should I be feeding her? If processed pellets, Is there one brand preferred over the other? Or has products made just for carnivorous turtles? Most of those pellets are corn or soy based, but there has to be something made for them, or breeders wouldn't keep them so healthy...right??

thanks in advance,
