Posted by: lyle at Tue May 24 21:41:02 2011 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by lyle ] Ok, so I ordered about a hundred rodents that were shipped out to me on tuesday of last week. The person who was supposed to be here to pick up the package decided to leave and the delivery was missed. The same thing happened twice and, long story short, I just got them today. They obviously thawed, but how long ago I don't know. The mice have rigamortis and the rats didn't make it that far at least. My question is, should I throw them out? I mean, snakes eat road kill in the wild all the time. Should I let the snakes decide whether the rodents are bad or not? They seem way pickier than I am most of the time. Has anyone had a snake get sick from eating rodents that are past their prime? I mean, I wish this didn't happen, but those are a lot of rodents to waste. I'm not going to just throw them out if my snakes aren't gonna get sick from them. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
