We just got a pair of carpet chameleons from the repticon show in at the Timonium fairgrounds yesterday. They are about 5 inches long nose to the end on their tail. The female is fine and is completely healthy. The male on the other hand is not. We got them from the same person at the show. He said he had the female for 2 months and the male for only about a week. He also said they were wild caught from Madagascar.

Now my problem is with the male. Its front arms move funny and it almost looks like they're dislocated. They don't seem to move right compared to the healthy female. He kept falling trying to climb up his cage last night but when we put a umbrella tree in he was doing better in the cage. Then tonight we saw his tongue wouldn't go back in his mouth, it was actually stuck on his body practically touching his back legs. It also looked swollen at the end. He could not get it back in himself, so we had to help him get it back in. We have been spraying water in the cage and have a drip system, plus we have a heat and UVB light on them. We are really worried about him and don't know what's wrong. Can someone please help us?

Thank you, J and M
