I am using eco earth so mine will just dig out a sleeping hole . When I feed him I put down a napkin & lure him over to it so that he won't eat any of the bedding . As for humidity the bedding will take care of that . The only downfall is that the water bowl needs to be cleaned daily . He actually ate today but I did have to dip the fuzzy in egg in order for him to eat .
