Our 12 year old male CA woodie has slowed down eating over the past couple of weeks and has now apparently stopped altogether. He's acting fine other than that, and we've had no issues with regurges or other symptoms related to impaction other than the lack of appetite. My wife has had him for 10 years but he's only lived with me for the past two so I'm not real familiar with his seasonal habits, but she says he slows down occasionally...it just seems like an odd time of year to me.
He's active, but he spends a good deal of time in his water (I know they're semi-aquatic, but I guess it's my snake-keeping experience that makes me question something when I see them in the water for long periods of time). He's alert, and the eyes and nose and mouth all look clear - no evidence of crackled breathing or anything like that. Temps are in the low to mid 80's with a ----- - Jeff -
