just got a brand new iggy baby last week! i have wanted one and read about them since i was a kid, so i had a lot of time to learn how to properly care for them.
my question is, she is pretty flightly and freaks out when i try to pick her up. i left her alone all week so she would adjust to her new home. i have been letting her jump on my arm and let her crawl on it without trying to grab her to make her feel comfortable the past 2 days. i have only handled her twice and she really really didnt care for that, opened her mouth and tail whipped.
i was wondering how often i should pick her up to try and tame her since i dont want a huge iggy in a few years acting the same way!
i dont want to stress her out so how often should i hold her? when i did handle her, it was for only around 2-3 minutes, should it be longer or is that a good start? thanks for any replies!
