They both thought they could sleep under the stars but all I could think about was the tail on Marks Ig so I made them go inside. Both crap outside, so far, and it hoses right down the drain. I added shade cloth to the little ones cage. I do have a mist system, I just havent gotten to it yet and may not install it.
The Dallas zoo has cornuta outside. I talked to the keeper about what they do about the temps. He said they dont do anything. The lizards go into the rocks for shade when they are too hot. He said they have a mist system built in but dont use it cuz the rhinos didnt use it. The keeper said they get eggs every year. They have 2 females and a HUGE male in the enclosure. They all looked great and well fed.
