Had to be at least 6' long, definitely the largest C. adamanteus I've ever encountered in the wild. I had no desire to disturb him and by the looks of it, he was going to put up a fight. I sat there marveling in its beauty for a few minutes before moving on. Of course, he rattled at every movement I made. I got about 7' from him to take the shot. Probably my best adamanteus moment.
