I used the Minwax Polycrylic on my first sets of cages and have since discovered that being water based is it's actual downfall. It breaks down after repeated cleanings. I Have built a few new ones using their Polyurethnae and it stands up much better. I have also started experimenting with some bar top epoxy, which is a bit more expensive depending on how much area you're covering, but is rock solid once it sets up. I have some pics available if you are interested, send me a message. ----- "Oh there won't be any money but when you die, on your deathbed you will receive total consciousness, so I got that goin for me which is nice"
