>>on Amazon tree boas.I would love to get one next year but know nothing about them. Are they aggressive(im thinking yes to this one)? Do they make good display animals? Temps, humidity? What to look for when buying one(probably off kingsnake classifieds).
Amazon Tree Boas are awesome snakes, but they're not for everyone. They are snappy and don't calm down much either. It's also important to note; they have fairly large teeth and their bites, although not damaging or painful, can be pretty bloody.
When set up properly, they make excellent display animals. If not set up properly, the owner is usually frustrated and disappointed that their "tree" boa doesn't spend much time on their "tree branches".
Temps in the mid/upper 80's and humidity in the 60-80% range. "Introducing the Amazon Tree Boa"
