Posted by: Chance at Thu Jun 30 09:58:00 2011 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Chance ] Though I have kept snakes for quite a while and probed more than I can remember, I have two little "male" blacktail cribos that have thrown me for a loop. They are both supposed to be male, but when I attempted to probe them they both came up "female." Not wanting to cause any damage with such small snakes, I was probably being overly cautious. However, someone suggested that young Drys can be fairly easily visually sexed, especially if you have more than one to compare.
