Hey all. I read up quite a bit before getting this magnificent animal obviously, and this forum is where I got a lot of information. Now that I have the little guy I wanted to post some pictures of him. He is my first snake (not reptile) and from what I have seen so far, the myths about chondros being aggressive is completely blown up. This little guy is mainly Biak and he's sweet as a button. He is younger (3-4 Months) but I do plan to handle him some what. I know this is ill-advised but I have done my share on exactly how to care and handle these guys. Anyway's I'm misting him regularly and still waiting for his first feed!

I got him from a local reptile specific shop called Underground Reptiles. I know they sell chondros on the forums here and do outstanding business. The guy's there really helped me out. I did not get to see this little guys parents personally, however the reputation of the store made me feel more then comfortable. The Sire was Biak x Merauke and the Dam was Biak.

Anyway this is my little guy

His name is Warlock.
