The photos are not impressive but it hurt like hell and the bites on the pinky took several days to stop opening back up every time I used my left hand for anything.
the culprit: my normally sweet heart albino retic, Citrus:
Pure feeding strike. I didn't even go into her cage; I'd opened it up to take a picture, and she grabbed me while I was about to photograph her; I was a good 12" away from the cage. She got my hand pretty good and tried to orientate my hand for swallowing (I assume for swallowing); I suspect that's what make the bites so damn deep. Total time elapsed was almost certainly under a minute, but it felt a deal longer. She'd gotten 3-4 coils around my forearm, but I started where they ended to begin unwrapping her; after one or two were done she got the hint and let go.
The bites were last sunday, the pinky wounds bleed fairly freely though Monday (went through a lot of bandages and typed one handed), and reopened on me Wednesday when I tried to do my weight lifting routine. They're looking fine now so hopefully I can lift more next week ----- We wouldn't have 6 and a half billion people if you had to be beautiful to get laid. 1.3 African House Snakes 3.2 reticulated pythons 1 corn snake 4.3 Florida Kings 2 speckled kings 1.2 ball pythons 1 Argentine boa 1 Texas Rat Snake 1 checkered garter snake
