I was bitten by one of my beaded lizards last night around 11:20pm.
I began to flush the bite with cold water right after it happened for about 10 minutes .
It just bit me really fast & then let go . It had no time to chew venom into my wound . I consider myself very lucky because this would have been my first serious bite . I shall handle them with more caution from this point forward . I stayed up 1 hour after it happened before going to bed to check for symptoms from the bite . All was well so I went to bed . I also checked for swelling & which there was none right from the beginning . To all that have these lizards please take more caution than I did . Peace .
