ROTFLOL! Just kidding, Linda! Couldn't help myself, you see I am having the same concerns, so really am laughing at myself. I was worried that the "hides" were getting too hot, so bought some white tile sheets (a 12" x 12" sheet of little 1" squares) at Home Depot and placed one over each flower pot hide. It looks like my turtles have solar panel roofs! Kinda cute if not the "natural" look. Don't know if it's really helping with the heat issue, but at least it's something
