Hi, just curious how fast gtps grow? I got one almost a year & a half ago at 2-3 months of age. I was told it was female & the jayapura type. She has always looked thin to me compared to other constrictors ive seen which I guess is normal. They are not very thick looking as a species, correct? She has grown a lot since ive had her but is maybe only 2 1/2-3 ft long. I havent measured, just a guess. She also turned from yellow to green & blue recently. I think she may get even greener as she still has a little yellow on her sides near her belly. I feed her a ft hopper mouse once a week. Shes always ate well & has a very gentle disposition. Never bites or strikes. Not even when I first got her & had to pick off mites at the petstore before bringing her home. She also had stuck shed that I picked off & still never bit. Anyways, is this growth normal? I borrowed my friends greg maxwell book when I first got her but I dont remember what it says about growth. Also how thick should her body be? Just want to make sure im doing right by her. Any info on gtps this age would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
