Posted by: bugnut at Mon Jul 18 15:11:35 2011 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by bugnut ] I moved my eggs to a different container, but didn't know about needing to keep them in the same orientation as the mother laid them so they won't drown. Is there anything I can do? I was going to go out and buy some vermiculite and/or coco peat for moist substrate, but if I have just drowned all the embryos, I won't bother. Right now, they are setting on damp dirt covered by a damp paper towel. The container is sitting on top of my aquarium which adds a bit of humidity and is the warmest place in the house.
