I currently own one wild caught Viridis Viridis (Prairie Rattler)and am new to hots. Where I live there is no hots training available and buying/selling hots is illegal however keeping up to 4 wild caught is legal. That really makes breeding difficult. I would love to breed Samantha (my rattlers name) however cant without capture of another viridis. Also I have no way to id her sex so that complicates things as well. Any advice for a new crotalus owner with no hots training avail? Some helpful info... I am 30 years old so I am not some kid playing with fire. I have Sam in a 30 gal locking top snake terrarium that has a padlock on it. The 30 gal is sitting inside a identical 40 gal snake terrarium also with a padlock top.
