ok my experience with this is pure husbandry etc. Yes the temp may be too low...as you already may know their temp helps them digest. Make sure that while you may have a good hot spot, you may still have too cold of a cage..., check your humidity and make sure you mist spray. Contaminants, the other day I tasted these spray bottles I purchased. I sprayed my tongue before I sprayed my cham. It was a horrible taste that certainly would make my animal sick. Keeping the cage as clean as possible is a must as well, if your animal has eating too much of its own poop it may cause serious problems meaning is vet time. I saw this with my bearded dragons, I knew they were infected by something so look into simple ways of treating it before spending too much at the vet. Last, but not least, and this may be the problem, which is simple and easy to fix, is ask your self...how much are you feeding your cham?if you are feeding him lots them he is eating and crapping asap. Wax warms are not always the most digestible treats either. My beardeds lived on for a long time but they would loose weight. They were old when this happen. I imagine that if gone untreated for a very long time, your animal may perished, good luck finding a vet that will not reap you off.
